This Image's Creation Story:
Rocky Mountain National Park: 14,256 ft - The iconic photo of the east face of Long's Peak is from Chasm Lake. It is a beautiful, but harsh, location. In contrast, this intimate photo of the Diamond on Long's has a much friendlier feel with its foreground of dwarf trees arrayed like a Christmas tree lot. The goal for this shot was to have extreme depth with very sharp details throughout. A rare winter day with almost no wind made this possible.
This image is available in 5x7, 8x10, and 11x14 Matted Prints and can be purchased as is, or framed with a handmade frame created by the Artist made from reclaimed wood.
