This Image's Creation Story:
Rocky Mountain National Park: 13,327 ft. - While climbing the Pagoda-Chief’s Head couloir on a grey winter day, McHenry’s peeked around this cliff face all bathed in brilliant white sunlight. Up to this point I had been disappointed by the flat grey skies, but the warm ochre cliff contrasts with the cold majesty of this towering form. I then had the joy of descending this couloir in the dark after a sunset photo shoot from the top.
