This Image's Creation Story:
RMNP: Tombstone Ridge June 23, 2020 - My companion during a Milky Way photo shoot (eyes open but fast asleep). I discovered this fawn while hiking in the dark. My headlamp picked up of something glowing on the ground. Thinking it was a reflective piece of hiking gear that someone dropped, I looked closer. It was the glowing eye of this fawn. It slept for the hour that I shot the Milky Way, then I moved my tripod over, and enjoyed the peaceful predawn as I took several photos of this sleepy little guy.
