This Image's Creation Story:
Spruce Lake - Rocky Mountain National Park I stood with the trees on this hill near Spruce Lake in Odessa Gorge, waiting for the sun to rise and to paint the surrounding peaks in alpenglow. We waited to pay homage to the light with a hush of quiet anticipation in the air. The memories of countless sunrises seemed to linger, along with the ghosts of other long gone visitors.
