Learn what it takes to 'shoot' for the stars! Astrophotography is the art of photographing the night sky, especially the Milkyway Galaxy, as well as capturing ‘star trails’. During this 4 hour class while actually on location within Rocky Mountain National Park, you will be learning the ins and outs of this art form; the equipment suggestions and requirements for best results; and the many tips, tricks, and techniques that 'Inspired' artist Max Cardenas has learned from his many years and incredible experiences of Night Sky Photography. Included in the price of the class is the cost of transportation into the National Park, the artist presentation by Max Cardenas, hot beverages and folding chairs, as well as the cost for an 8x10 photographic art print of the Astrophoto Max will create that night that will be shipped to you 1-2 weeks after the class. Locations within the National Park will be chosen by the Artist Max Cardenas for optimal photo capturing, and will vary from class to class. Max has been an Astrophotographer for over 4 years, capturing the beauty of the night sky from locations all across the United States, but Rocky Mountain National Park is a very special place for this type of photography. Rocky Mountain National Park and the surrounding town of Estes Park are known as 'dark sky sites’, which is essential for photographers to be able to attempt to get clear shots of the Milkyway Galaxy without light from the surrounding areas distorting the final images. Class sizes and dates are limited, since this type of photography can only occur on dates close to the New Moon Phase. Reserve your spaces today!
