Service Description

Pyrography is an art technique that involves using high temperatures to 'draw' designs and patterns in to wood, and also add shading and texture to the working surface. In this Inspired Art Studio class, participants will learn the basics of this art form while creating 4 different wood art pieces, using Colorado Wildlife and the Rocky Mountain Landscape as inspiration. These pieces will then be assembled into a wall hanging or mobile art piece that can be hung in the creators home to as a souvenir of their time spent in the Colorado Rockies. For the safety of all participants, we ask that any we do not have participants under the age of 12. We also ask that any participants under the age of 16 be accompanied by an adult. The adult does not need to sign up to participant in the class themselves, but must be present for the entirety of the class.
